Syria sarin attack has hallmarks of a false-flag
Recent reports claim that the Syrian government launched a chemical gas attack in the Idlib region of the country, yet the timing and nature of the incident indicate a false-flag to propel certain powers back into a battle they had seemingly given up on.
Those who have seen this all before are led to believe that the story being echoed by western officials and the mainstream media are being used to reignite a war that had seemingly ended, and it is easy to understand why.
Al-Qaeda affiliated White Helmets first to the scene
There are so many factors that point to suspicious activity. Firstly, the fact that Al-Qaeda affiliated White Helmets, who have received over $100million in funding from Western powers, were the first to the scene, without the adequate gear that would stave off such a dangerous chemical.
As Paul Antonopoulos writes: “Merely hours after the alleged chemical weapons attack in Khan Sheikhun, supposedly by the Syrian government, holes are beginning to emerge from opposition sources, discrediting the Al-Qaeda affiliated White Helmets claims.”
Trump Administration performs U-turn on Syria
Just days after the Trump Administration formally announced that it would abandon its regime change policy in Syria, that possibility suddenly looks likely again due to the recent event.
Donald Trump, who had frequently lambasted Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton for their attacks in the Middle East is now having his head turned within his own administration to do exactly that in the space of just 72 hours.
In fact, Trump was so vehemently against Syrian intervention back in 2013, and publically stated why:
Haven’t we seen this before?
If reports of a chemical attack carried out by the Syrian government on its people, without any evidence, followed by an immediate call to a military response by the west sounds familiar, then that is because it has indeed happened before.
In 2013, claims that the government had unleashed sarin gas on its own people were made. However, after investigating the matter, a leading member of a UN Commission was led to believe that the attack was in fact carried out by rebel forces.
Around the same time, it was reported that radical Islamist militants had gained access to large quantities of chlorine gas that might have been used in a lethal strike near the Syrian city of Aleppo
Syria destroys all of its chemical weapons destroyed in late 2013
Then, later that year, Syria’s declared equipment for producing, mixing and filling chemical weapons was destroyed, according to international watchdog Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW).
The attack simply does not add up
Above are just some of the reasons why the attack simply does not add up. At a time when the Syrian government had appeared to have regained control over the country following years of bombardment from Western powers, the decision to then unleash such a callous attack makes no sense at all.
Russia had assisted the Syrian forces in largely defeating ISIS, while Trump was uninterested in further wars in the region. So, why would Assad in his right mind then in such a callous act, which gives the perfect excuse for the neocons within the US government to rally up support to revive a dead war?
This attack has all the hallmarks of a false-flag, aiming to suck the US, other western powers and Gulf states back into a conflict that they had seemingly lost.
Rather than get caught up in the hysteria that is ensuing from the establishment media and vested governments, it is important to remain vigilant, to remain fully aware of the bigger picture – that the resumption of war in Syria will only benefit the few while having potentially catastrophic consequences for the overwhelming majority.
